Your roses all look so healthy and happy. Mine are slow to bloom this spring but the plants all look very healthy so I'm expecting them to be beautiful. I just read how you make your rose labels. I've got a label maker but never thought of using it for my roses! You are so clever and thank you for the great suggestion.
You have just inspired me to go out and do some weeding right now. Have a great day.Blooming Rose Musingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06927029523022093567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7928880599026491390.post-79080350684198058762011-04-08T06:38:07.187-07:002011-04-08T06:38:07.187-07:00The markers are from Paw Paw Everlast Label Compan...The markers are from Paw Paw Everlast Label Company in Michigan. I used a Brother label maker to make the labels. A 3/4" & a 1/2" strip cover the marker perfectly.sherryocalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06367991971551038582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7928880599026491390.post-13982599461295006872011-04-08T06:13:31.191-07:002011-04-08T06:13:31.191-07:00Beautiful! Other than that, sounds like your yard is like mine (minus the patio) - I have weeds too and just bought Round Up today. I feel like I've just been on a lovely, peaceful, quiet tour.

I love your Reve d'Or. I had her a few years ago, but lost her. I have Borderer and she is a little sweetheart of a rose.

We only got a few sprinkles from that huge storm that passed over the middle of the state. We are in drought conditions once again.

I am so happy to have found you. Growing roses in FL is a joy and you are an inspiration.

Thank you ~ FlowerLadyFlowerLady Lorrainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678852154334714784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7928880599026491390.post-18999080938547042662011-04-02T18:42:29.231-07:002011-04-02T18:42:29.231-07:00I'm impressed with your patio. They were little 1-gallon plants a year ago. Last year they grew one cane at a time and looked pretty gawky. I pruned them in February, and they have really grown since then. I’m very pleased with them, and I think you will be, too. Just give them time to grow.sherryocalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06367991971551038582noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7928880599026491390.post-20384623667324388312011-04-02T15:58:59.573-07:002011-04-02T15:58:59.573-07:00Sherry, your roses look all so healthy! I got one recently and it is still a very tiny plant in a one gallon pot just "starting to do something". I hope mine will be as lovely as yours are, soon!
Christinaorganicgardendreamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11122516730008378516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7928880599026491390.post-58036480499049067442011-04-02T15:01:57.942-07:002011-04-02T15:01:57.942-07:00Unquestionably, you are correct, Professor, in you...Unquestionably, you are correct, Professor, in your premise but not in your number. This is Florida not Kansas. Perhaps I could fit 3 roses, but then the screen door would be inaccessible.
