I know I promised you the results of my camera competition but that will take way more energy that this brain and body have. So I'll take the easy road - photos!!
'Maman Cochet, Climbing' |
'Maman Cochet, Climbing' and 'Reve d'Or' |
'Souvenir de St. Anne's' - a sport of 'Souv de la Malmaison' and just a baby in my new driveway bed, blooming like crazy. |
'Souvenir de St. Anne's' - there is something so charming about this rose that turns my heart to mush. |
'White Maman Cochet' - the other new rose resident of the driveway bed. |
'Mme Abel Chatenay' - the current love of my life |
Here she is again. |
Remember the cluster of 'Capitaine Dyel de Graville' that I posted a couple of blogs ago? His blooms fade rather uniquely. |
Daylilies - captivating flowers for the lazy gardener |
'Gruss an Aachen' |
Just call me lazy! |
I love Capitaine Dyel de Graville's charming finish.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your beautiful roses!

Sherry, being lazy is good sometimes :-)! I enjoyed looking at your photos. I especially like your day lilies and I share your love for 'Mme. Abel Chatenay'!

It is your photos of your lovely Climbing Maman Cochet that convince me to keep mine. It's not my favorite rose, and I don't think it earns the enormous amount of space it takes up, but I keep holding out hope that it will one day be a feature. This is year five for it, and I think this is probably the last.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Souvenir de St. Anne's!!
These pics don't require any words...simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNow get some rest...you hardworking gardener. :-)
Oh Sherry, these are just gorgeous photos. Love the daylilies and dianthus among the roses.
ReplyDeleteI think all roses turn my heart to mush. I love, love, love your roses.

Beautiful roses, Sherry! Your climbing Maman Cochet and Reve d'Or are striking.
ReplyDeleteYou'll never hear me complain about a blog that has lots of photos, Sherry. My favorites are Cl. Maman Cochet and White Maman Cochet which is rather surprising since I've never been terribly fond of the Cochets. You might have changed my mind. Of course Mme. Abel Chatenay is still one of my great favorites. The day lilies are awesome! Love the colors.
