A forgotten day

These photos were taken on June 28th. I don’t know what was going on that day and the days after, but it must have been pretty hectic because I never went back and looked at these photos. And that’s enough words for a Wednesday.

  3. Rain lilies always take my breath away. I guess they effect you that way, too, Kay.

Thanks for the welcome, Sage. I visited your blog as well and loved your recipes (just took a quick look-see). I want to read more of it so I'm your newest follower, and I've added you to my blog list for others to enjoy.

  4. And a pretty day it was in your garden! Lovely. Isn't it wonderful that we can capture a day and return to it over and over again? I've been looking at my spring photos in amazement. Wish the garden could be like that all summer long.

  8. Very beautiful shots, Sherry. I think I like your lovely lilies almost as much as the roses, especially the wonderful mauvy purple one. To me they're one of the prettiest companion plants to the old roses.

  11. If sweat were irrigation I'd have a $5 water bill! I'm impressed you're growing roses in such a humid climate. I'm outside DC and Sceptre d'Isle, Night Owl, Westerland, and William Shakespeare do well for me. Your garden looks really beautiful! :o)
